About the Program
The Girls Can Code project is a PanAfrican Capital Foundation initiative geared towards creating a supportive and conducive tech ecosystem for women and girls like you through expert-facilitated hands-on learning experiences. This 3-month program is a tech upskilling workshop that will equip every young woman with market-demand skills necessary to jumpstart careers and journeys in the technology sector.
The program is strategically positioned to close the digital and technology knowledge gap between men and women in the technology ecosystem, as well as to provide equal access to technology and technology-related opportunities for women and girls, particularly those from underserved communities in Lagos State, Nigeria.

The GCC training is a highly competitive program and participants would be selected from outstanding applications that show a strong interest in technology. The three-month training program will begin in July 2023 and will last three months, with weekly check-ins and live sessions with industry experts. The project’s last month will be devoted to soft skills training and competency webinars to better prepare participants for the job.
At the end of the program, you would receive a certificate from our project partner – Ustacky as evidence that you have duly completed the training. We are here to support you as you embark on your path as a woman in tech, and we look forward to receiving and reviewing your application.
Heads up!
Participants who enter or submit multiple applications will be disqualified. When you click the submit button, you will be taken to a screen that confirms the Selection Committee has received your application. When the evaluation is completed, you will be notified of the status of your application.
